OptionsCount

Usage

Choose the kind of identifier and how many you need (up to 1000). New identifiers are generated whenever an option changes, or with the Generate button. The copy button copies all of them, one per line.

  • UUID v4 is random and the most widely used kind of UUID (also called GUID).
  • UUID v7 starts with the current time in milliseconds, so identifiers sort by creation time. That keeps database indexes compact, which makes it a good choice for primary keys.
  • ULID has the same structure as UUID v7, but is written as 26 characters of Crockford's Base32, which is shorter and avoids easily confused characters like I, L, O and U.

Identifiers of the same batch created within the same millisecond are sorted, so the list stays in order.

Privacy

The random parts come from your browser's cryptographically secure random number generator. This tool runs entirely in your browser and does not send any data to a server.
